All I can say here is that this mission created a multitude of what appeared to be new portals. Formed around Halemaumau (the crater where the smoke is coming from in above photo), and moving out around the world.
This was also seen by G in Kailua Kona.
Below is a photo of the fire (smoke) ceremony spot. This was right at the edge of Kilauea caldera.
Tobacco (lit by the sun via a lens) plus lehua blossom (framed among three pyramid rocks), which transmitted the fire energy to the planet. The smoke, to me, was symbolic of smoking out the last of the dark corners on the planet.
