I just felt like hugging this tree. Which I did. I felt she wanted one. And I felt like I wanted one too. That means I am “weird” according to some people. But I know most who read this are also quite “weird” so you’ll all understand.
I had an AA sponsor once who often told his sponsor-ees “If you don’t understand this Higher Power thing, just go talk to a tree. It’ll always listen and not judge.”
So that’s been my day so far. After an ice cream cone, hug a tree.
Relax and let Nature be your Higher Power. I like that.
Aloha KP
PS: Went through an extensive interview last night with Stephen Cook which he’ll post tomorrow. I enjoyed it. Hope you do too. You may find I’m stranger than you think!

I love this.
Thank you for giving and receiving love in your encounter today with one of our “Guardians”. I have been watching this video over and over the past two weeks and learning to bless and honor our friends, the trees, more than ever. peace
Love this thanks Gary
Best hugs ever!! :)..and always such wise messages…love this post and the video posted as well!! <3
Your AA sponsor must have been more enlightened than mine…I was told I could use my coffee cup…just so as long my higher power wasn’t me…..:). And I have been weird all of my life, but “this” weird is the best….I am really excited about you being on the radio show….and I am glad you are having fun with it….

I’ve been hugging trees for years :) or just resting my face against them… its good to be weird! Looking forward to listening to the interview. Hugs x
Trees keep us alive, they are Mother Earth’s way of providing the 02 we need to breathe. We should all hug a tree a day.
Dear KP,
You are Loved precisely for who, what you are by so many who visit your blog daily !
The mind needs to tag things with a “name’, compare them & assume that it knows.. It’s
weird, it’s normal, good bad etc… The Heart knows intuitively, unmistakably through direct
knowing. This visitor knows, you are Loving Peaceful Caring Compassionate Human Being.
Weird ? Aren’t we all ? SMILE
Much Mahalo, Much Love

Looking forward to your interview with Steve.
I have also learned to listen and not judge ………….good lessons for all to try and do.
Trees have always been one of my favorite things to look at photograph, climb, touch ,smell
and just enjoy the vibes.
Blessings and Peace to all
What a wonderful World we are looking at in the very near Future, can feel the changes
happening as we move closer to Ascension for all.
I hug trees too. They (I) love it!
Hugs :)
I’m looking forward to hearing your voice tomorrow :)
(I hug trees too) Ö
I hugged a tree or two not too long ago. When I was a teenager I used to trip on psychedelics and I remember walking by trees sometimes and feeling like they were talking to me. That was in the late 90s, and ever since then I’ve always looked at trees as conscious and even emotional. Also this is neat: I saw a youtube video years ago that showed a little boy saying he was a tree in a past life and he got a little upset when he said that people will just come and cut you down without caring. I feel he was being totally truthful.
Yes,
I hugged a tree last week and guess what a spider fail into my blouse, a big huge tree spider. Done with hugging tree.(LOL) But I do understand I wanted to talk to the tree.
From one tree hugger to another… I can’t wait to hear how strange you are!!! But I doubt that I will think that. I think you are awesome. Now that I know that you actually hug trees… I think you are even more awesome than I thought!!! LOL!
My dearest KP, I am so glad you are a tree hugger like me! You know what? I am starting to look at wood the way I do meat and leather–I think, why did something have to die just so you can have some thing? I haven’t told a soul. This has been for the past week. I have been talking with trees since May. Shhhh! Don’t let anyone off this page know! Lol : P
Don’t feel guilty. Many animals chose to come here to provide food and other things, and many plants chose to provide us with food and wood. If you ever kill something yourself just know that a soul whose choice it is to leave this energy plane in that way will be the one you take, and give thanks. I believe the Native Americans lived like this, which of course is why somebody didn’t want them around. Let’s fight back and live like them in honor of them.
Awwww…mahalos for that wonderful thought! Nice way to think of it.
I hug trees too especially Redwoods in California. I Love trees and they are wonderful Blessings. I hope I can be online to hear your interview. Blessings,
Yes yes, had to hug some trees too this week :)))
Best quick head to head you can have with Mother Earth to my mind…
Looking forward for tomorrow to listen at The Light Agenda which is going to interview this week my favorite blogger!
Aloha :))
I love you, Kauila.
from Bashar 2.0, June 2012, Video #4 of 4:
Q: Hello Bashar.
A: And to you good day.
Q: Thank you for this transmission.
A: And you as well, for your reflections.
Q: I’m very interested to discover whether it’s possible to capture and also store energy from bioluminescent sources.
A: Yes, of course, it is.
Q: Okay. Is there also energy that we’re not currently utilizing from photosynthesis that might be utilized for other means?
A: Absolutely. There are many, shall we say, natural technologies that you are able to utilize if you would take a slightly different approach in your technology.
Q: Is there any, with a relationship that might be with other living beings, is there some relationship that we might be able to glean or gain energy and also make that some sort of symbiotic relationship where that other being would benefit from that transfer of energy?
A: Yes of course. One of the things that many of you have not yet realized is that trees, and especially the tallest ones, are antennae. They, in that sense, rise up from the earth, extend themselves out as feelers, and pick up on many different kinds of subtle energies, higher frequency energies, and then they in a sense act as step-down transformers to take that energy into the earth, to feed the earth, in that way to create cycles of energy coursing through the earth, in that way, along conduits, along pathways, along circuits, if you wish to call them that. There are ways, thus, then, to create, without in any way, shape or form harming the trees, and in fact in many ways benefitting them as well, ways to connect them, ways to link them, ways to utilize this energy for your own purposes. But you have not yet realized that you have this network of antennae spread out over the entire planet that you could utilize to step down and transform higher-frequency subtle energies into something that you can use with your own technology. That’s one way you could utilize nature that you are not utilizing.
wow i always thought of trees as like that in the back of my mind but my brain never really registered what i was thinking about until i read what you just said
:) Go Forth And Invent!!!
They do talk to each other. Like up to half a block away. I asked and they told me. We humans are amusing to them, they feel protective of us. I blogged about talking to trees in May I think. They are nice entities.
Birds of a feather, flock together….in the trees!!! LOL Love you and your “weird” self.
KP:
Yes, a tree is a fine example of Higher Power manifesting (better than the ole proverbial ‘door knob’ heard around the tables some years ago–friends of Bill W. know about this).
Letting Go and Letting God; Easy does it; One Day at a Time; Take What you Need and Leave the Rest; Turn it Over; Good Orderly Direction; Spiritual Life is not a theory…You have to Live it;
Trust and Faith in a High Power; Patient, Tolerance, and Love; all KP, quite relevant to all the goings on of Today, for us all.
Thanks for the reminder…

Your funny!…..and it’s all good.
…when people don’t understand something, they call it weird. I guess we are all weird.
Lately I enjoyed watering the plants outdoors, it is peaceful. At times I sit on the steps on the deck, take off my shoes and feel the ground while I sip my coffee and I say hello to Gaia, it feels good.
Can’t wait to listen to the interview. Take care and God bless.
What kind of tree is it? The flowers look like Tangerine Trumpet Flowers (OF WHICH I I ADORE THE SCENT!) but the leaves do not.
I hug trees too, maybe it’s time for us to learn, we are not the “weird” ones. LOL
Back in 1986, I attended a Ramtha event in Yucca Valley. One day, after a Teaching out in the deserts, he suggested we should, as some time, hug a yucca, a ‘Joshua Tree’. It was an interesting experience because they kind of look human. A bit spikey, but all the more memorable. LOL.
Frankly, I wish Ents were real Likely we would see more action from them than any reported ETs. (If all those various sites channeling ETs were at all accurate, the ETs seem as chatty, babbly, and non-productive as our Congress.)
Cheers,
Thank you, KP :) In Lord of the Rings, Trees were majestic and mystical beings with unseen power (which they are!). JRR Tolkien had woven so many aspects of “Higher Truths” into his fantastic creations — he probably was channeling :) Blessings
Love this!
A tree near the front of my house taught me how to cope with what seems negative….watching the tree in winter with no covering, then budding in spring to beautiful leaves in summer giving me shade. I learned to just go with the flow, and let nature takes it’s course….for humans as well as trees. They deserve our hugs…….and I am sure they love them too. You are special K.P. Bless you
Hugging trees kept me sane because there was no human or animal to hug (during a long period of silent mourning because of the ‘loss’ of a dear family member, ripping my old personality off).
I had read that the American Indians practised it for healing and I decided that the Europeans could accept that, too.
I love this post so much. Wisdom from AA, from trees, from KP… It just does not get better or more encouraging. :) Thank you!!!
Aloha KP,
Great your on Steve’s show, the prelude is awsome bra, best of luck. Nice many of us hugging our trees, I sat with a Pohutukawa tree the other and talked to it while gulls glided overhead with incoming storm, very peaceful it was. Once we share more with Gias children I’ve discovered you’re never alone. Happy tree hugging everyone and yes the Ents are grand, my fav frm Tolken. ~light eternal~
Deano :~)
I feel and understand the presence of trees so completely. It is a delight that so many share my experience in so many different ways. My gratitude to KP for bringing LIGHT to this subject! : – )
I love you, brother kauilapele, I also huge trees.
And the now sleeping humanity will soon wake up and learn that crazy persons open paths that will be run through by wise persons later on (*).

Que rico!
I am right now looking at a tree across the street from my office. Since Monday there has been a flock of snowy egrets getting ready for their travels south. There are 7 in the giant tree.and close to 20 more on thee ground. I have NEVER in 13 years seen them in the small refuge across the street here. Super beautiful to see. Had to share. :)
Namaste

I imagine that many of us listening to the interview will be relieved to discover we are not as weird as we thought. :-) And then to be grateful for our weirdness!
