There is not any political reason I am posting this. I do sense that it is a significant presentation for the resolution of issues in a most important part of the world. Through this process, we are seeing before our eyes the demilitarization of this region, and, very shortly, a shift to “prosperity for all” in the region formerly known as Babylon.
I present the Whitehouse.gov YouTube video below. Below that is the first portion of the speech text, a link to the speech at Whitehouse.gov, and a link to a text only pdf of the full speech.

Moment of Opportunity: American Diplomacy in the Middle East & North Africa
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. Thank you. (Applause.) Thank you very much. Thank you. Please, have a seat. Thank you very much. I want to begin by thanking Hillary Clinton, who has traveled so much these last six months that she is approaching a new landmark — one million frequent flyer miles. (Laughter.) I count on Hillary every single day, and I believe that she will go down as one of the finest Secretaries of State in our nation’s history.
The State Department is a fitting venue to mark a new chapter in American diplomacy. For six months, we have witnessed an extraordinary change taking place in the Middle East and North Africa. Square by square, town by town, country by country, the people have risen up to demand their basic human rights. Two leaders have stepped aside. More may follow. And though these countries may be a great distance from our shores, we know that our own future is bound to this region by the forces of economics and security, by history and by faith.
Today, I want to talk about this change — the forces that are driving it and how we can respond in a way that advances our values and strengthens our security.
Now, already, we’ve done much to shift our foreign policy following a decade defined by two costly conflicts. After years of war in Iraq, we’ve removed 100,000 American troops and ended our combat mission there. In Afghanistan, we’ve broken the Taliban’s momentum, and this July we will begin to bring our troops home and continue a transition to Afghan lead. And after years of war against al Qaeda and its affiliates, we have dealt al Qaeda a huge blow by killing its leader, Osama bin Laden.
Bin Laden was no martyr. He was a mass murderer who offered a message of hate –- an insistence that Muslims had to take up arms against the West, and that violence against men, women and children was the only path to change. He rejected democracy and individual rights for Muslims in favor of violent extremism; his agenda focused on what he could destroy -– not what he could build.
Bin Laden and his murderous vision won some adherents. But even before his death, al Qaeda was losing its struggle for relevance, as the overwhelming majority of people saw that the slaughter of innocents did not answer their cries for a better life. By the time we found bin Laden, al Qaeda’s agenda had come to be seen by the vast majority of the region as a dead end, and the people of the Middle East and North Africa had taken their future into their own hands.
That story of self-determination began six months ago in Tunisia. On December 17th, a young vendor named Mohammed Bouazizi was devastated when a police officer confiscated his cart. This was not unique. It’s the same kind of humiliation that takes place every day in many parts of the world -– the relentless tyranny of governments that deny their citizens dignity. Only this time, something different happened. After local officials refused to hear his complaints, this young man, who had never been particularly active in politics, went to the headquarters of the provincial government, doused himself in fuel, and lit himself on fire.
There are times in the course of history when the actions of ordinary citizens spark movements for change because they speak to a longing for freedom that has been building up for years. In America, think of the defiance of those patriots in Boston who refused to pay taxes to a King, or the dignity of Rosa Parks as she sat courageously in her seat. So it was in Tunisia, as that vendor’s act of desperation tapped into the frustration felt throughout the country. Hundreds of protesters took to the streets, then thousands. And in the face of batons and sometimes bullets, they refused to go home –- day after day, week after week — until a dictator of more than two decades finally left power. Did not hear his speech and now sorry I read some of it. What a hypocrite! As an American I am appalled at how he flattered HRC. Has he not seen her track record in politics? She is in close running with N. Pelosi as the cover-up queen. His mentioning the killing of OBL is a blatant lie and the topper was the young man who
doused himself with fuel and lit a match. Is that what we Americans must do to get
dignity? We’ve lost our freedoms too….going through airport security is just one intrusion we face. My luggage was searched, I was wanded, taken off the line, my laptop opened, searched and then I was surrounded by a band of security agents. The humiliation plus my luggage emptied was, to say the least shocking. With their bells ringing, wands buzzing and unqualified keystone cops in a tizzy, the ‘high commander’ was called in when they exhausted all their brain power…..he asked me what perfume I was wearing. “None, I replied.” I had used a ‘lemon’ scented organic lotion after my shower, which was on my hands, therefore, everything I touched thereafter had this scent on it. The ‘lemon’ was the reason their entire system went haywire!!! The scent of ‘lemon’ and not a terrorist!! This entire ordeal was the brilliant workings of our homeland security. This was to be a happy journey to Hawaii.
As a senior American I have chosen not to fly anymore due to the incompetency and harrassment of my government. Given this, our President now uses examples of third world countries and the inhumane treatment of their citizens, before looking in his own backyard first. His whole speech is based on falsehoods and delusions. I was unable to finish reading the text as I did not want to subject my consciousness to any further indignity. Not a good way to start a beautiful day. I would rather go outside, plant my feed on mother earth and thank her for tolerating those who cannot feel her loving energy. Let’s send unstoppable Light to our elected leader as a wake up call. Aloha.
you took the words right out of my mouth !!
Thank you, Kauilapele, for this post. It is evident that some/many have
made up their minds and will not be shaken from their own boxes. However,
there are many different avenues that lead to peace and just because it does
not come about in the way one expects, there is no reason to go off and sulk.
WE are One and ALL thoughts enter the matrix without impunity. A little
more conscious forgiveness and allowance for change will go a long way.
I sometimes despair when I feel so many thinking with hate and non-tolerance,
because it affects my/our daily life. Those thoughts are creating our world.
No wonder it is taking so long. I am hoping that people will read your post
of SaLuSa today and really let it sink into their bones.
WE all know of the dark side and what they have done, the governments blatant
abuses, etc. but to focus on that just feeds them and brings more.
I say …enough. Let it go and work on cleaning your own house thoroughly before
one more complaint is voiced ! It is my matrix you are messing with !
Let us all understand the meaning of Namaste and try using it for real, even
for a day.
Let us love one another,
Dawn
Thank you Dawn for this enlightened and Light-filled comment. There is so much vitriol that is stirred up with this president, that I am sure that it is being brought up in each person as an opportunity to clear it. Just as each of us who hears or reads such vitriolic statements and may react to them, are being given an opportunity to bring Light to the whole situation.
hey thats a nice thought, maybe you might try praying for those going though hell right now . i use to hold the light , right now with what i am going though , its hard not to lose your cool . still holding on to the torch ,some times i lose my grip. So how about a pray for us .
I read it…all the light was dark…thanks
but I’m going to remain hopeful anyway…
For anyone waiting for the president to deliver happiness…
do not bring harm to yourselves…there is no need.
Happiness is an individual responsibility.
It is found where you stand and nowhere else…
After my vision on September 11, 2001 about Jesus crying to the Father to hold the four winds, I learned that we (those living) since that time are now before the judgment seat of God, but there is one dream in particular God keeps illustrating over and over.
I saw in a dream in 2002 that a wall would be built in Israel (it was proposed by Pope John Paul II a couple of months after my dream and work began immediately).
The wall was so huge in the dream that it spanned from horizon to horizon and only those who were permitted could enter Jerusalem.
I could tell that there was nothing redeemable in the physical sense in Israel and it was extremely hostile in nature but there was a reason I had to go in, it just wasn’t a pleasant thought. I still don’t know exactly why except for what I witnessed in the dream.
I had to walk through a barbed wire gate to get to an electronic turnstile which; permitted someone in then locked and held them inside so papers could be passed to the guard while keeping the visitor imprisoned in the turnstile.
While I was in the gate I saw a sign written in three languages that read “mortal danger, anyone who passes or damages this fence endangers his life”. Three years ago I found pictures of the sign and turnstile I saw in my dream.
While I was in the turnstile I heard the voice of an angel of God quote 1 Thessalonians 5:3 “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” Then I woke up.
Today the fence is almost complete.
Tuesday, January 20, 2009 I witnessed President Obama being inaugurated and I heard that same voice quote the same text in Thessalonians.
Today When the president said in his presidential address at 10 am this morning that his main agenda till the end of his presidency is peace in the Middle East, the Spirit of remembrance caused me to remember the angel say “when they cry peace and safety then sudden destruction comes”.
The power of the unadulterated word of God has been unfolding to those who submit to the will of the Father.
The cry is heard “get ready, get ready” from the righteous angels of God. His Holy Spirit is about to be let lose from the throne in heaven in such strength that when He comes it will be like a celestial dam breaking lose.
Here’s more about the wall.

There are many visions and prophecies from various spiritual leaders and scriptures that are coming to pass right now. I’m grateful for you sharing your vision. It makes no difference, in my mind, from which spiritual background we come, or profess at this time.
My view is that we are being helped to rise up in Spirit (consciousness), and that is God’s decree for this planet. Blessings to you always.
